Installing

1. Open the LinkedIn Reminders listing on the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
3. Open linkedin.com. The Remind Me button appears on profiles, messages, and posts.

The Remind Me button isn't showing

• Refresh the LinkedIn tab after installing.
• Check the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions.
• Make sure you're on linkedin.com, not the mobile app.

Moving reminders to a new computer

Reminders are stored locally and don't sync across devices. We're considering opt-in sync — let us know if it's something you want.

Pin the extension to your toolbar

Click the puzzle-piece icon to the right of Chrome's address bar, find LinkedIn Reminders, and click the pin icon. The extension icon then stays visible so you can open your reminders list in one click.

Reminders after a LinkedIn update

LinkedIn changes its page layout from time to time. If the Remind Me button disappears or shows up in the wrong place, first refresh the page and check that Chrome has installed the latest version of the extension (Chrome updates extensions automatically, usually within a day).

If it's still missing, let us know which page you were on — a profile, a message thread or a post — and we'll fix it in the next update. Your saved reminders are not affected by layout changes.

Notifications and due reminders

Due reminders are shown when you're on LinkedIn in Chrome. Each reminder links back to the profile, conversation or post it was created on, so you can pick up exactly where you left off.

To change a reminder's time, open the reminders list and edit or delete it. Marking a reminder as done removes it from your upcoming list.

Sending feedback or a bug report

Use the contact form and include what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and your Chrome version (found at chrome://settings/help). A screenshot helps a lot. Feature ideas are welcome too — many current features started as user requests.

Does it work on mobile or other browsers?

LinkedIn Reminders is a desktop Chrome extension, so it works on linkedin.com in Chrome on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. It doesn't run inside the LinkedIn mobile app. Other Chromium-based browsers that install extensions from the Chrome Web Store may work, but Chrome is the browser we test on.

Reminders you create on one computer stay on that computer, because everything is stored locally for privacy.
